The Ubiquiti UniFi 5G Max Outdoor (U5G-MAX-OUTDOOR) is a cellular modem and 5G outdoor gateway. It provides WAN access by connecting to mobile carrier networks, supporting 5G NR with automatic fallback to 4G LTE and 3G UMTS. The device connects to local infrastructure via a single 2.5 GbE RJ45 port. It does not broadcast a Wi-Fi signal, acting solely as a wired internet uplink for separate routing or switching hardware.
