The ADLER 1385B electric kettle is designed for boiling water for tea, coffee, and quick meals. It uses a 2000 W heating element to boil water in its 1.7 L reservoir, providing enough capacity for several cups in a single cycle. The kettle is operated using a simple button on the handle. It does not feature an adjustable thermostat or preprogrammed settings, as it is designed for basic boiling.

The plastic housing comes in a black and white colour scheme. A water level indicator on the side allows you to check the current volume without opening the lid. For safety, the kettle switches off automatically once the water boils and includes boil-dry protection to prevent damage if the tank is empty. The kettle sits on a 360° rotational base, which connects to the mains via a 0.7 m power cable.
