The recipe uses lamb as the primary protein source, supplemented by herring. Whole spelt and oats provide complex carbohydrates for a gradual energy release. Blueberries are added for natural antioxidants, while ingredients such as beet pulp, carrot, spinach, and psyllium seed husk contribute dietary fibre.

This food contains 28% protein to maintain lean muscle mass and 18% fat for daily energy. Glucosamine and chondroitin are included to support joint health, which is particularly important for larger dogs. Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids from herring oil and animal fats support skin and coat condition.
