The Keychron Q2 Max is a compact 65% custom mechanical keyboard featuring an ISO layout. It is built with a double-gasket mount inside a 6063 aluminium chassis finished in Carbon Black. The keyboard comes with pre-installed Gateron Jupiter Banana switches and a hot-swappable PCB, allowing you to change switches without soldering. Connectivity options include 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.1, and wired USB-C. The design balances a compact desk footprint with the functionality of essential modifier keys, making it suitable for both gaming and office work.

The double-shot PBT keycaps use an OSA profile to resist wear while maintaining a consistent texture. Adjustable south-facing RGB LEDs are positioned to reduce direct glare. The keyboard supports QMK and VIA for full key remapping and macro configuration. Multi-device pairing allows the keyboard to connect to several machines at once, and it is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux without the need for additional drivers. The internal battery is charged via a rear-mounted USB port.
