The Keychron Q5 Ultra 8K is a tri-mode wireless mechanical keyboard (96% layout) available in black with Silk POM Red switches. It is designed for gaming and professional use. The keyboard connects via a 2.4 GHz receiver, Bluetooth 5.3, or a wired USB-C connection. The 2.4 GHz and wired modes support an 8000 Hz polling rate to reduce input latency. It uses pre-lubricated Keychron Silk POM Red switches for consistent linear feedback. The keyboard is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux without needing additional drivers, and it can pair with multiple host computers simultaneously.

The CNC-machined aluminium chassis features a double-gasket mount to dampen typing vibrations and internal noise. A lithium-polymer battery provides up to 660 hours of use per charge. Multimedia and key functions are programmable via the Keychron Launcher software, with custom macros stored directly on the device’s onboard memory. The fixed-angle metal case does not have adjustable height feet or an included wrist rest. The USB-C cable and wireless receiver are detachable for easier storage and transport.
