The ICYBOX IB-RD2818DK-40G is a dual-bay M.2 NVMe SSD docking station and connectivity hub. It holds two M-Key M.2 SSDs to expand your system’s storage capacity. The unit supports RAID 0, RAID 1, SINGLE, and LARGE modes to accommodate various data requirements. Data transfers reach speeds of up to 40 Gbit/s via a USB4 or Thunderbolt 3 connection, providing the throughput necessary for efficient file management and large media workflows. The dual-bay design allows both drives to be accessed through a single cable connection.

An HDMI port supports external video output at 8K resolution and 30 Hz. An internal fan provides active cooling to maintain stable temperatures during heavy workloads. The included 100 W power adapter provides 60 W of Power Delivery to the connected host computer. Additional USB-A and USB-C ports on the front and rear of the chassis expand peripheral connectivity. A physical switch allows you to power the device on or off independently of the host connection, and integrated LEDs indicate the status of each drive bay during operation.
