The Elgato Wave XLR MK.2 USB Audio Interface is a wired desktop interface that connects an XLR microphone to a computer. It supplies 48 V phantom power for compatible condenser microphones. It is intended for streaming, podcasting, recording, and audio production. Clipguard technology is included to help prevent clipped or distorted recordings. Built-in DSP processing handles audio within the interface. Integration with Elgato Wave Link supports control of microphone levels and other audio sources.

The black unit has a compact desktop footprint, measuring 118 mm wide, 93 mm deep, and 73 mm high. Its form factor keeps the interface controls within reach during a recording session.
