The HUAWEI H362-383 5G outdoor unit (ODU) is a fixed wireless access device that converts mobile cellular signals into a wired connection. It supports 5G Non-Standalone (NSA) and Standalone (SA) modes, with maximum data transfer rates of up to 5.4 Gbit/s. The unit functions as a mobile broadband gateway rather than a Wi-Fi router, delivering connectivity to an indoor network via Ethernet. It includes 4G LTE fallback for locations where 5G coverage is intermittent or unavailable, providing high-bandwidth internet access for properties without fixed-line broadband infrastructure.

Designed for exterior installation, the gateway features an IP65-rated enclosure to protect against dust and water ingress. Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows for power and data transmission via a single cable. Integrated 6 kV surge protection helps maintain operational stability during electrical storms. A built-in Nano-SIM slot accepts compatible data plans, and the system is managed via a standard web interface.
