The Samsung Odyssey G9 features a 49-inch LED-backlit VA panel with a 5120 × 1440 DQHD resolution. Designed for gaming, it offers a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms response time to reduce motion blur during fast-paced scenes. The native 32:9 aspect ratio provides an expansive ultrawide view. The display offers a typical brightness of 350 cd/m² and a 2500:1 contrast ratio.

The curved screen is designed to maintain a consistent viewing distance from the centre to the edges. The monitor covers 92% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut, displaying 1.07 billion colours with 10-bit depth. DisplayHDR 600 and HDR10+ Gaming technologies support HDR content to enhance contrast. The display provides 178° viewing angles and includes flicker-free and low blue light features for visual comfort. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro is included to synchronise frame rates and prevent screen tearing during variable rendering.

Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 inputs and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. An integrated USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub provides two downstream Type-A ports for peripherals. The monitor has a 3.5 mm headphone jack but no integrated speakers. A detachable stand is included for desktop use. The unit carries a Class G energy efficiency rating for standard SDR use.
