The Synology RackStation RS6426xs+ is a 3U rackmount NAS server designed for centralized file sharing and virtualization. It features an 8-core Intel Xeon D-1739 processor with a 3.0 GHz base frequency to handle demanding workloads. The unit comes with 16 GB of DDR4 ECC RDIMM memory, which is expandable to 96 GB. Its 3U chassis houses 16 internal drive bays compatible with 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA drives. Hot-swap support allows for drive replacement while the system is running, and total internal storage can be scaled up to 1536 TB.

Connectivity includes two 10GbE RJ45 ports that support link aggregation and 10 Gb/s transfer speeds. Dual 550 W power supplies provide redundancy for continuous operation.
