The Synology DiskStation DS425+ NAS (16TB HDD Bundle) is a four-bay desktop server built for centralized file management and network data access. This bundle comes with four hard drives pre-installed, providing a total of 16 TB of storage. The unit is powered by an Intel Celeron J4125 quad-core processor and includes two 2.5GbE RJ-45 ports. These ports support link aggregation, which can be used to increase bandwidth or provide failover protection. The system comes with 2 GB of DDR4 RAM to run the DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system.

Two 92 mm fans at the rear of the black chassis provide cooling. Users can access the four hot-swappable drive bays, which accommodate both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch SATA drives.
