Sony DualSense Wireless Controller (Green)

The Sony DualSense wireless controller (Green) is a gamepad for the PlayStation 5 and compatible systems. It functions as the primary input device, using haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to provide physical sensations during gameplay. The L2 and R2 triggers adjust their resistance to reflect specific in-game actions, such as drawing a bowstring or firing a weapon. Built-in actuators provide localized vibrations that mimic environmental textures or equipment recoil. The controller is compatible with the PlayStation 5, as well as PC, Mac, Android, and iOS devices.

The controller is powered by a 1560 mAh lithium-ion battery, which is recharged via a USB-C port. It uses Bluetooth 5.1 for wireless connectivity, though the USB port also supports a direct wired connection for data transfer and charging. It includes an integrated microphone and speaker for voice chat and sound effects, along with a 3.5 mm jack at the base for headsets. A six-axis motion-sensing system—comprising a three-axis gyroscope and a three-axis accelerometer—detects tilt and rotation for motion-controlled games. A central multi-touch touchpad supports gesture commands and menu navigation.
