HPE Networking AP-721H - Hospitality Access Point

The HPE Networking AP-721H is an indoor hospitality access point that supports the 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 standard. It operates on a tri-band system across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequencies. The 2-radio, 2x2 configuration manages connections for multiple users and IoT devices simultaneously, offering a maximum combined wireless data rate of 3200 Mbit/s. This throughput provides sufficient capacity for high-density settings such as hotel rooms or small branch offices. Tri-band operation improves spectral efficiency by reserving the 6 GHz band for compatible devices.

Connectivity includes two RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports for local wired networking. The device is powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), removing the need for a separate AC adapter. Security is managed through WPA2, WPA3, and Enhanced Open protocols for guest access. The chassis is wall-mountable, making it suitable for locations where space or ceiling access is restricted. Dedicated features allow for the isolation of guest traffic from staff networks, and a physical reset button is included for manual configuration restoration.
