The TP-Link Archer NX500-Outdoor 5G AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Outdoor Router is a dedicated mobile broadband gateway for exterior connectivity. This 5G NR device converts cellular signals into a high-speed local network without needing a fixed-line connection. Operating on the dual-band Wi-Fi 6 standard, it delivers a maximum wireless data transfer rate of 3000 Mbit/s. Coverage across both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies supports both legacy and modern wireless clients. A built-in SIM card slot enables direct mobile data access from a carrier. The gateway also includes 4G LTE Cat19 fallback, which keeps internet connections active when the primary 5G signal is unavailable.

Designed for exterior deployment, this router supports pole, wall, or window installations. It receives power via Power over Ethernet (PoE), carrying both power and data through a single cable to simplify outdoor wiring. The internal antenna design keeps the hardware profile compact while maintaining reliable cellular reception. Wired connections use a single 2.5 Gbps Ethernet RJ-45 port, providing a high-bandwidth link for downstream switches or indoor access points. WPA3 encryption and a dedicated Denial of Service (DoS) firewall handle network security. Administrators can fine-tune the network through integrated guest access routing and Quality of Service (QoS) traffic management.
