The Synology BC510 AI-Driven Bullet Camera 2880x1620 (5MP) is a wired network surveillance camera designed for continuous monitoring. It uses a 1/2.7-inch CMOS sensor to capture video at a maximum resolution of 2880x1620 pixels. Footage is transmitted over a Fast Ethernet connection at 10/100 Mbit/s via a single RJ45 port. The device has a 2.8 mm fixed focal length lens with a 110-degree horizontal field of view. To handle varying lighting conditions, the hardware includes wide dynamic range (WDR) processing. Power is supplied through a standard DC input or IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE), drawing a maximum of 5 W.

Housed in a bullet-style form factor, the camera is designed for indoor and outdoor use. The exterior carries IP66 and IP67 weatherproofing ratings for dust and water resistance. Installation uses a standard ceiling or wall mount. Configuration is handled through a web-based management interface that supports secure protocols including HTTPS encryption and TLS v1.2. A built-in microphone captures audio alongside the video feed. An integrated MicroSD card slot enables localised video storage.
