QNAP QBoat-300 - NAS server, Grey

The QNAP QBOAT-300 NAS Server is a compact, fanless storage device designed for edge computing and industrial environments in the small-to-medium-business sector. It uses an ARM quad-core processor running at 1.8 GHz. Internal memory includes 4 GB of RAM and 4000 MB of flash storage for the pre-installed QNAP QTS 5.2.9 operating system. Storage is handled exclusively through M.2 SSDs, with slots for up to three drives, though no drives are included with the unit. Passive cooling allows silent operation and removes the mechanical failure points found in traditional cooling setups. Total power consumption is rated at 12.02 W during typical use.

Connectivity is provided by two RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet ports that support transfer speeds of up to 1000 Mbit/s. These network interfaces allow multiple clients on a local area network to access data. RAID support includes configurations 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 60, and JBOD. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports on the chassis allow connection of external peripherals or additional data sources. The web interface provides tools for monitoring drive health and managing maintenance tasks. The grey chassis measures 184 mm in height and 132 mm in depth. A dedicated reset button and an on/off switch are located on the chassis.
