Synology RackStation RS826RP+ - NAS, Black, Grey

The Synology RackStation RS826RP+ is a 4-bay 1U rackmount NAS designed for small and medium-sized businesses that need centralised file management and backup. The four drive bays accept 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or 2.5-inch SATA SSDs. An AMD Ryzen V1500B quad-core processor running at 2.2 GHz handles multi-user environments and demanding workloads. The system ships with 4 GB of DDR4 ECC memory, which detects and corrects memory errors. It supports several RAID levels, including Synology Hybrid RAID and RAID 6, for redundancy against drive failure. Memory can be expanded to 32 GB for more demanding workloads.

Network connectivity is provided through four 1 GbE RJ-45 ports that support link aggregation and failover to maintain uptime. Two built-in 150 W redundant power supplies keep the system running if one PSU fails. Three 40 mm fans manage internal temperatures during continuous operation. A single PCIe Gen 3 x8 slot accepts a network interface card for additional bandwidth. The device runs Synology's DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system, which provides a web-based interface for managing storage protocols such as iSCSI and SMB. External peripherals connect through two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports on the chassis. The system works with Windows, macOS, and Linux for use in mixed environments.
