The STARTECH QSFP-400G-DR4-UST is an MSA Uncoded QSFP-DD 400GBASE-DR4 optical transceiver for 1310 nm single-mode fibre (SMF) with an MPO connector. It supports a maximum data rate of 400 Gbit/s over distances of up to 500 metres and is suited to top-of-rack aggregation and campus core routing.

As an MSA-compliant, uncoded module, it works with non-proprietary networking equipment. It operates at a 1310 nm wavelength across four parallel optical lanes, in line with the DR4 specification, and uses the standard QSFP-DD form factor, with a depth of 117.8 mm and a height of 12.6 mm.
