The QNAP TS-H2490FU-7232P-32G 24-Bay All-Flash NAS (2U Rackmount) is a high-density storage solution for enterprise environments that require low-latency data access. An AMD EPYC 7232P processor powers the system, with 8 cores and 16 threads at a base frequency of 3.1 GHz. It holds twenty-four 2.5-inch U.2 SSDs in a rack-mountable chassis. Memory starts at 32 GB of DDR4 ECC RDIMM and can be expanded to 4 TB across 16 slots. The ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system provides data management and protection. Networking includes two RJ45 Ethernet ports.

Two 1100 W built-in power supply units provide redundancy. Storage bays are hot-swappable, allowing drive replacement or expansion without interrupting active services. The NAS supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60. Cooling is handled by four 60 mm fans. Security features include 256-bit AES encryption, SSH, and SSL/TLS for stored data and management traffic. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports are available for external peripherals or local management. The system is compatible with Windows Server 2019, Linux distributions such as Ubuntu 20.04 LTS, and macOS versions up to Big Sur.
