The Synology RS1226RP+ RackStation 8-Bay NAS is a 2U rackmount storage solution for centralised data management in small to mid-sized organisations. It features eight hot-swappable drive bays that accommodate 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and 2.5-inch SATA solid-state drives. This configuration supports a maximum raw storage capacity of 288 TB for high-volume deployments. Internal processing is handled by an AMD Ryzen V1500B quad-core processor running at 2.2 GHz. The system includes 4 GB of DDR4 ECC SO-DIMM memory as standard. Error Correction Code (ECC) memory helps maintain data integrity during continuous file-serving operations.
