FURminator Toy Dog Long Hair XS De-Shedding Tool

The FURminator Toy Dog Long Hair XS De-Shedding Tool is a manual undercoat de-shedding brush designed for dogs weighing under 4.5 kg with long-haired coats. As a manual grooming tool, it requires no charging or power source and is ready to use at any time. The stainless-steel edge is engineered to pass through the topcoat and remove loose undercoat hair without cutting the skin or damaging the outer coat. This sizing targets very small breeds, so the tool's proportions are matched to the scale of toy dogs rather than medium or large breeds. Used once or twice a week for 10 to 20 minutes on a dry coat, it can help reduce loose hair around the home.

Construction centres on a stainless-steel cutting edge paired with a Skin Guard design that helps the blade follow the contours of the dog's body during grooming strokes. The tool weighs 260 g, providing enough substance for controlled handling without being unwieldy on small animals. An ergonomic handle supports a steady grip during use, and the integrated FURejector button releases collected hair from the edge so the tool can be cleared between passes. The blade should be guided gently in the direction of hair growth, starting at the head and working towards the rear, while avoiding sensitive areas such as the abdomen, legs and genital region. One unit is included per package.
