The Philips 55-inch 4K Ultra HD LED Ambilight Smart TV is a flat-screen television for streaming, broadcast viewing and gaming. Its 139 cm panel has a 3840 × 2160-pixel resolution in the native 16:9 aspect ratio. A 60 Hz native refresh rate suits everyday films, programmes and console use rather than high-refresh-rate gaming. Philips Perfect Pixel Picture Engine processes the image, while HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG support covers several common high-dynamic-range formats. Ambilight projects colours from the picture onto the wall behind the set to broaden the visual effect.

Titan OS provides built-in access to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO and YouTube. Network connections can use Wi-Fi 5 or the wired Ethernet interface, and Bluetooth 5.2 is available for compatible wireless devices. Voice control is included, with support for Google Assistant. The two integrated speakers provide 10 W combined output and support Dolby MS12, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X processing. Compatible soundbars and AV receivers can accept TV audio over HDMI ARC or eARC, while a dedicated headphone socket supports private listening.
