The ICY BOX IB-1233CL-CR is a dual-bay HDD docking station and clone station for managing SATA storage drives. It accepts up to two 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA HDDs or SSDs at the same time. Users can clone data from one drive to another directly, without connecting to a host computer. LED indicators show the cloning progress from 25 % to 100 %. The dock connects to a host system via a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface with data transfer rates of up to 5 Gbit/s. Plug-and-play functionality provides native compatibility with Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Built-in CF and SD memory card readers offer additional ways to access and transfer files. A single USB port is available for connecting an extra peripheral. Power is supplied through an external 12 V AC adapter rather than via USB bus power. The package includes a USB Type-A to Type-B cable and a quick start guide. An integrated on/off switch controls the main power state. The unit measures 15 mm × 110 mm × 62 mm and weighs 425 g.
