The Braun ThermoScan 4 Ear Thermometer IRT3515 is an infrared device for measuring human body temperature in the ear. It delivers a reading in approximately one second using a one-button control. The thermometer measures temperatures from 34 to 42.2 °C, providing a suitable range for assessing fever. Readings appear on a digital display that uses a colour-coded system for immediate visual guidance: green for normal, yellow for fever, and red for high fever. Operation relies on a single 3 V CR2032 lithium battery, which supplies power to the internal electronics.
