The Ledlenser AF2R Work Rechargeable Area Light is a compact LED light designed for illuminating workspaces, electrical panels, and vehicle compartments. It delivers up to 1000 lumens with a maximum beam distance of 45 metres. A diffused lens spreads the 6500 K light to reduce harsh shadows and glare during close-up tasks. The light has a colour rendering index of 80 for accurate colour representation while working. It provides five white-light brightness levels to suit different conditions. Red-light functions are also included for preserving night vision and serving as a warning flasher during roadside emergencies.

Constructed from aluminium alloy and polycarbonate, the area light is rated IP54 for resistance to dust and water splashes. The housing withstands drops from up to 1.5 metres. A built-in 4800 mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to 35 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. Recharging takes approximately 6.5 hours through the USB-C port using the supplied USB-C to USB-C cable. Multiple hands-free mounting options consist of an integrated magnet, a hanging hook, and fixing ribbons. An anti-slip surface and an integrated ruler add practical support when positioning the light on a workbench or vehicle. A battery level indicator displays the remaining charge during extended shifts.
