The MINISFORUM X1-255 Mini PC – AMD Ryzen 7 255 Barebone is a compact desktop for users who want to choose their own memory, storage and software. Its AMD Ryzen 7 255 processor has eight cores and 16 threads, suitable for running applications and background tasks at the same time. The chip runs at 3.8 GHz and boosts to 4.9 GHz. This specification is appropriate for office work, browsing, software development, media playback and demanding everyday multitasking. The system is therefore a configurable small-form-factor platform, not a complete ready-to-use computer.

Two DDR5 SO-DIMM slots support up to 64 GB of 5600 MHz memory, leaving capacity and module selection to the builder. Storage uses two M.2 2280 NVMe SSD slots, and no SSD is fitted as supplied. No operating system is installed, so software must be added during setup. The mini chassis is suited to a space-limited desk, home office or compact workstation. Since both memory and storage are unpopulated, the final configuration depends on separately selected components.
