ELEGOO Galaxy PLA Filament Peacock Blue, 1.75 mm, 1 kg is a thermoplastic material intended for fused deposition modeling (FDM) and fused filament fabrication (FFF) 3D printing. The blue base incorporates glitter and reflective elements to produce a shimmering finish, making it suitable for decorative models and display pieces. Mechanical properties include a flexural strength of 75 MPa and an impact strength of 56.3 kJ/m². The filament has a tensile strength of 38 MPa. It requires a nozzle temperature of 210 °C and a build plate heated between 35 °C and 65 °C. Usable nozzle temperatures range from 190 °C to 230 °C to accommodate different hot-end configurations.
The filament is wound on a 1 kg spool with a diameter of 1.75 mm, ensuring compatibility with most FDM and FFF 3D printers from ELEGOO and other brands. Dimensional accuracy is rated at ±0.02 mm to support consistent extrusion. Print speeds up to 200 mm/s are achievable depending on the printer hardware and cooling setup. Optimal environmental conditions involve an ambient temperature between 20 °C and 45 °C. Relative humidity should be kept at or below 20 percent during storage and operation to preserve material integrity. The spool is designed for straightforward mounting on standard printer holders.
