The MINIS FORUM NAS N5 AMD Ryzen 7 255 16GB RAM 128GB SSD combines network-attached storage with a compact desktop computer. Its eight-core, 16-thread processor runs at 3.8 GHz and boosts to 4.9 GHz. This configuration is aimed at home-server, virtualisation and media-management workloads. Five bays accept either 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch hard drives. Up to three additional M.2 or U.2 SSDs can also be fitted. Fully populated storage capacity is specified at up to 144 TB.

The mini chassis uses hot-swappable drive bays, allowing compatible disks to be exchanged without shutting down the system. A slide-out motherboard provides direct access to internal components. Two SO-DIMM slots support up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory for later upgrades. MinisCloud OS is installed, while Windows 11 and Linux support are also specified. The PCIe 4.0 x4 interface accommodates additional expansion hardware. Supplied items include a power cable, HDMI cable, network cable, hard-drive screws, U.2 SSD power cable and user manual.
