SUNLU PLA+ Silk, 1.75 mm, 1 kg 3D Printer Filament, Black and Purple

The SUNLU PLA+ Silk Dual Color Filament Black and Purple 1.75 mm 1 kg is a 1.75 mm diameter filament designed for Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printers. It produces a glossy, silk-like surface with a two-colour effect that shifts subtly with viewing angle and lighting. This makes it well suited to figurines, decorative models, display items, and similar prints where finish is the main selling point. The filament is wound on a standard 1 kg spool for extended print runs and uses a PLA+ formulation intended for reliable everyday printing.

The material has a stated dimensional accuracy of ±0.02 mm for consistent extrusion across the print path. A nozzle temperature of 210 °C is typically recommended. Reported physical properties include a density of 1,230 kg/m³, a glass transition temperature of at least 54 °C, and a melting point of at least 164 °C. The PLA+ formulation offers greater toughness, impact resistance, flexibility, and strength than standard PLA. These mechanical characteristics help printed parts retain their structural integrity.
