The SUNLU TPU 95A B Flexible Filament is a thermoplastic polyurethane material designed for FDM and FFF 3D printers. Rated at Shore 95A hardness, it offers a balance of structural strength and elasticity, allowing printed parts to bend and absorb impact while returning to their original shape. This makes it suitable for functional components that require a rubber-like feel, such as gaskets, seals, protective covers, and vibration-damping parts. Its elongation at break of 900 percent allows the material to stretch significantly before failure, accommodating demanding everyday applications. An impact strength of 47 kJ/m² further supports its use in high-wear enclosures and grips that undergo repeated flexing.
Operating this filament requires a printer equipped to handle flexible materials. The recommended extrusion temperature ranges from 195 to 230 °C, with a typical target of 210 °C. For good layer adhesion, a build plate temperature between 50 and 60 °C is advised. The material supports printing speeds up to 80 mm/s, which fits standard desktop fabrication workflows. Consistent extrusion is aided by tight manufacturing tolerances, reducing the risk of jams common with flexible filaments. These parameters suit standard FDM and FFF systems designed for thermoplastic polyurethane.
