SUNLU PLA Wood 1.75 mm, 1 kg 3D Printer Filament, Wood

The SUNLU Wood PLA 3D Printer Filament is a 1.75 mm wood-filled material designed for fused filament fabrication 3D printers. It contains approximately 15 per cent real wood powder, giving printed objects a natural appearance with a matte surface and subtle grain texture. The filament is supplied on a 1 kg spool and is intended for decorative models, artistic projects and prototypes where an organic finish is desired. SUNLU specifies a typical nozzle temperature of 210 °C and a heated build plate temperature of 50 to 60 °C. With a specific gravity of 1.17 g/cm³, the material has a flexural strength of 55 MPa and an impact strength of 6 kJ/m².

The material is compatible with most FFF/FDM 3D printers that support 1.75 mm filament. Print speeds up to 230 mm/s are specified, though printer and slicer settings may need adjustment depending on the machine. The spool winding is designed to be orderly, reducing tangles and interruptions during printing. Printed parts can be further finished using standard woodworking techniques such as sanding or staining, offering a useful balance between structural properties and surface aesthetics for detailed decorative work.
