Its cardioid polar pattern prioritises sound arriving from the front while reducing pickup from the sides and rear. This pickup behaviour helps separate the intended source from surrounding room sound in a desktop recording setup. The mic covers a rated frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, spanning low bass through the upper audible range. Its signal-to-noise ratio is rated at 78 dB.

The white metal housing provides a rigid body for regular desk-based use. An included desktop stand and microphone holder support a tabletop setup.
