The FIFINE T688 Dynamic Cardioid USB-C/XLR Microphone Bundle, Black is a wired studio microphone intended for spoken-word and vocal recording. Its dynamic transducer suits streaming, podcasting, voice-over work, video conferencing and general content creation. A cardioid polar pattern prioritises sound arriving from the front of the microphone. Audio from the sides and rear is reduced, helping the mic focus on the person speaking or singing into it. This pickup behaviour fits desktop recording environments where surrounding room noise might otherwise enter the recording.

The supplied low-profile boom arm uses a desk mount to position the microphone without needing a separate floor stand. A microphone holder and an integrated anti-shock mount are included.
