The FIFINE T688W Dynamic Cardioid Microphone with Boom Arm, White is a wired dynamic microphone designed for streaming, podcasting, video conferencing, voice recording and desktop content creation. Its cardioid polar pattern focuses pickup on sound arriving from the front of the capsule, which helps reduce unwanted sound from the sides and rear during speech recording. A frequency response of 70 Hz to 15 kHz covers the main vocal range without extending into very low bass or ultrasonic frequencies. The rated signal-to-noise ratio is 75 dB.

This white desktop microphone is supplied with a boom arm for adjustable positioning at a workstation. A microphone holder and shock mount are also included in the mounting setup. The mic takes 5 V power through its USB-C connection, so no separate battery or external power supply is needed for that mode. It can connect directly to a compatible computer for a compact recording setup, and support for compatible mixers and audio interfaces allows it to be incorporated into a separate audio chain.
