The FIFINE TAM8W Dynamic USB/XLR Microphone is a dynamic mic designed for streaming, podcasting, voice recording and online meetings. Its cardioid pickup pattern prioritises sound arriving from the front, reducing pickup from the sides and rear and helping separate speech from surrounding room noise. The microphone covers a frequency response of 50–16,000 Hz, and its stated 75 dB signal-to-noise ratio describes the captured signal level relative to background noise. The microphone connects directly to a computer through its USB-C interface. An XLR connection offers an alternative route into audio interfaces, mixers and other compatible equipment.
