The TERRAMASTER F8 SSD Plus 8-Bay NVMe NAS, Intel Core i3-N305, 16GB DDR5 is a desktop network storage enclosure designed for home and small office environments. It accommodates up to eight PCIe 3.0, 4.0, or 5.0 NVMe M.2 2280 SSDs, allowing a storage configuration of up to 64 TB. Drives are not included, so the system can be built using preferred solid-state storage. An Intel Core i3-N305 processor with eight cores and eight threads handles data operations, supported by 16 GB of DDR5 SO-DIMM memory, expandable to 32 GB. A single 10GbE Ethernet port provides high data transfer rates for file sharing and backup tasks. Three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and an HDMI 2.0b output offer additional peripheral and display options.

Operation is managed through the TOS operating system, which provides web-based administration accessible via standard web browsers. The enclosure supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD, along with RAID rebuilding and hot-spare drive assignment. Compatibility extends across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms, as well as Android and iOS mobile devices. Active cooling is maintained by two 50 mm fans, keeping the unit at a quiet 19 dB. The NAS also functions as a built-in FTP server, supporting network protocols such as CIFS/SMB, NFS, iSCSI, and SNMP. Security features include access control lists, system logging, and support for AES encryption.
