SWITCHBOT Lock Ultra - Smart door lock, Black

The SwitchBot Lock Ultra Smart Door Lock is a key and keyless smart lock that upgrades existing door hardware without replacing the lock mechanism. It runs on three rechargeable 18350 batteries, delivering up to nine months of use on a single charge. Direct wireless communication runs over Bluetooth, with a compatible SwitchBot hub required to add Wi-Fi connectivity and remote access. Entry methods include fingerprint recognition, automatic unlocking, NFC, voice control, smartwatch control, smartphone app, and a physical key, giving household members seven distinct access options. This positions the device as a retrofit solution for homeowners who want smart access without replacing their existing lock cylinders.

The housing combines ABS, aluminium, and polycarbonate, weighing 367 grams at 122 mm wide and 66.8 mm tall. The lock is designed for indoor residential use and is not weatherproof, so it should not be exposed to outdoor conditions or direct rain. It works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Home through Matter when paired with a compatible hub. Automatic locking secures the door after each entry without manual intervention, and the motor completes unlocking in approximately 0.3 seconds. Installation uses the included mounting plate and kit to attach over existing compatible locks.

• Compatible with most single deadbolts, Jimmy Proof, and mortise locks with the appropriate adapter; also works with common European cylinder formats.
• Six-layer security system with tamper alerts for intrusion detection.
• Triple-battery backup maintains access if the primary battery supply is depleted.
• No built-in camera, microphone, or speakers — handles access control only, not video intercom.
• Mounting type: existing compatible door lock; adapter installation over current hardware.
