RAINPOINT HTV245FRF 2-Zone Smart Wi-Fi Irrigation Controller with HWG023 Wi-Fi Gateway

The RAINPOINT HTV245FRF 2-Zone Smart Irrigation Controller with HWG023 WiFi Gateway is designed for automated irrigation of gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas. It allows separate watering schedules to be set for different zones around a property. Once connected to the home network, the controller can be operated from a smartphone app. Users can then programme watering frequencies and runtimes without needing to adjust the tap manually. Each zone can be set to deliver a specific volume based on what is planted in it.

A built-in water flow monitor tracks irrigation activity and sends usage data to the app. Users can choose normal, interval, or cycle-and-soak watering modes to suit different soil absorption rates and plant types. The system also connects to local weather data and pauses watering automatically when rain is detected. This helps keep soil moisture consistent and reduces unnecessary water use. A stable wireless link allows settings to be adjusted from outside the garden area.
