Anycubic ASA filament in white is a material for FFF/FDM 3D printing, intended for functional parts, engineering prototypes and other prints used outdoors. ASA’s resistance to UV exposure, moisture and changing weather conditions makes it suitable for applications where printed parts may be exposed to the elements. The listed impact strength is 90 kJ/m², a relevant measure for parts subject to knocks or impact. Its heat deflection temperature is up to 90 °C. Product information also states that it produces less odour during printing than ABS. These properties distinguish it from materials intended mainly for indoor or decorative prints.
The filament is compatible with FFF/FDM printers that accept 1.75 mm filament, and it is also listed as compatible with Bambu Lab AMS. The recommended nozzle temperature is 265 °C, with a build plate temperature range of 80–100 °C. Check that the printer can reach these temperatures and feed the specified filament diameter before use. The material has a tensile strength of 41 MPa and an elongation at break of 15%, providing further mechanical data for evaluating it for a particular part. It is supplied on a spool for feeding into a compatible printer. Its white colour is suited to prints where that finish is required.
Key Features:- 1 kg per spool: provides a full kilogram of printing material.
- 395 m listed filament length: indicates the approximate feed length supplied.
- 2,220 MPa tensile modulus: specifies the material’s resistance to elastic deformation under tension.
- 62 MPa flexural strength: gives a reference for its resistance to bending loads.
- 3,292 MPa flexural modulus: quantifies stiffness under bending.
- 1.07 g/cm³ specific gravity: provides a material density reference.
