MSI B850 MLG EDITION WiFi 7 AM5 ATX Motherboard

The MSI B850 MLG EDITION AM5 ATX motherboard is designed as the foundation of a custom AMD desktop PC. Its B850 chipset and Socket AM5 interface support Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 Series processors. Four DDR5 UDIMM slots accommodate up to 256 GB, giving gaming and content-creation builds ample memory headroom. The board uses a dual-channel configuration with non-ECC, unbuffered modules. The stated 8400 MHz maximum is available through memory overclocking.

An eight-layer PCB provides the physical base for the board's 14+2+1 Duet Rail power system. The Frozr Guard thermal design manages heat around performance-critical motherboard components. For network access, integrated 5G Ethernet is paired with Wi-Fi 7 and two antenna connectors. Bluetooth 5.4 covers direct links to compatible wireless peripherals. System power is supplied through a 24-pin ATX connector plus two additional CPU or auxiliary connectors. A front-panel audio connector, system header, TPM support and RGB lighting headers cover common case and security integrations.
