ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q5R 23.8" Full HD, Fast IPS, 200 Hz, HDR10 Gaming Monitor

The ASUS TUF Gaming monitor pairs a 23.8" Fast IPS panel with a 1920 × 1080 Full HD resolution. Its maximum refresh rate of 200 Hz supports smoother motion in fast-paced games, and the stated response time is 1 ms. AMD FreeSync Premium synchronises the refresh rate with a compatible graphics source to reduce screen tearing. Typical brightness is 300 cd/m², and the rated contrast ratio is 1000:1.

The flat 16:9 screen offers a standard widescreen layout for games and everyday desktop use. Typical sRGB coverage is 100%, with support for 16.7 million colours. Horizontal and vertical viewing angles are both rated at 178°, so the picture stays consistent from off-centre positions. HDR10 support allows the monitor to display compatible HDR content. An anti-glare coating, flicker-free technology, and a low blue light mode address reflections and viewing comfort during longer sessions.

Two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 input provide connections for multiple video sources. A headphone output offers an alternative audio connection. The included, detachable stand supports tilt adjustment from -5° to 22°, allowing the screen angle to be set as preferred. SDR energy efficiency is rated class E, with consumption of 18 kWh per 1,000 hours.
