The Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 monitor pairs a 27" OLED panel with a 3840 × 2160 4K Ultra HD resolution for detailed gaming visuals. Its 240 Hz refresh rate supports smooth motion in fast-paced games. A rated 0.03 ms response time provides quick pixel transitions, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro supports adaptive synchronisation. Typical brightness is 250 cd/m². The panel's rated 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio separates light and dark areas.

The flat screen uses a native 16:9 aspect ratio. With 99% typical sRGB coverage and support for 1 billion colours, it provides a broad colour range for games and other content. HDR support includes DisplayHDR 400 True Black and HDR10+. Horizontal and vertical viewing angles are both rated at 178°, allowing viewing from off-centre positions.
