Sonos Beam Ultra 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos Soundbar, White

The Sonos Beam Ultra 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos Soundbar, White is designed for TV, film and music playback in a home entertainment setup. Dolby Atmos support provides spatial audio playback from compatible content. Its nine built-in drivers comprise five tweeters and four woofers, with no separate subwoofer included. HDMI ARC and eARC support provide a connection for receiving audio from a compatible television. Wi-Fi and Ethernet offer wireless or wired home-network connectivity, while Apple AirPlay 2 adds another playback option.

Control is available through an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet, and touch controls handle volume adjustment. A separate remote control is not included in the package. The equaliser and adjustable bass let you tailor playback settings rather than rely on a single fixed sound profile. Placement options include a TV stand or wall mounting, though the wall-mounting kit must be obtained separately. The soundbar weighs 2.88 kg, a relevant consideration when choosing a suitable support or mounting arrangement.

• Bluetooth 5.3 provides an additional wireless connection option.
• Night Mode offers a playback setting for nighttime listening.
• Supported audio formats include MP3, WMA, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, Audible, Apple Lossless, FLAC, WAV and AIFF.
• HDMI cable and detachable AC power cord are included.
• No auxiliary input or USB playback is available, which limits connection options for some external sources.
