The Sony BRAVIA Theatre Trio three-piece home theatre system uses a 3.0.2-channel configuration for TV, films, games and music. Its rated RMS output is 405 W. Separate left, right and centre speakers form the three-piece arrangement rather than a single soundbar enclosure. Sony's 360 Spatial Sound Mapping processes audio to create a wider sound field. Dolby Atmos and IMAX Enhanced support handle compatible spatial and cinematic audio content. Voice Zoom 3 is designed to make dialogue clearer during playback.

The black system can sit on a TV stand or be wall-mounted using the included brackets. One HDMI input and one HDMI output provide wired connections for source equipment and a television. ARC and eARC support allow audio return from a compatible TV through HDMI. Supported video formats include 8K HDR, Dolby Vision and HLG. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide wireless connectivity for streaming and playback. BRAVIA Sync adds HDMI device control with compatible equipment, and smartphone and tablet remote support offers another way to operate the system.
