The TP-Link Archer MR200 is a 4G LTE dual-band router that provides internet access via a cellular connection. It features a built-in MicroSIM card slot, allowing for direct use with 4G LTE and 3G networks without an external modem. The device supports the Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) standard with maximum transfer rates of 433 Mbit/s. It operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies to reduce interference, and supports 800, 900, 1800, 2100, and 2600 MHz 4G LTE bands for carrier compatibility. The router can be used as a primary gateway or as a backup in areas without fixed-line broadband.

For wired connections, the unit includes four Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbit/s) RJ-45 ports. One port can be configured as an Ethernet WAN, allowing the router to be used with standard cable or fibre broadband connections. Two detachable external antennas are mounted to the chassis to improve cellular signal reception. An integrated firewall, featuring Stateful Packet Inspection and DoS protection, monitors network traffic. Users can manage guest access and prioritise network tasks via Quality of Service settings in the web-based management tool. The unit is powered by a 12V DC adapter and includes a physical reset button and a dedicated WPS button for wireless pairing.
