KATA Pro-Light Video Air Bag System KT ABS-HD, Inflatable Camcorder Protective Case, Black

The KATA Pro-Light Video Air Bag System KT ABS-HD is an inflatable protective case for transporting professional HD camcorders. Unlike a conventional camera bag, it is designed to cushion a camcorder rather than to organise a general camera kit. Compatibility is listed for professional HD camcorders from Canon, Hitachi, Ikegami, JVC, Panasonic, Sony and Thomson. The inflatable format provides cushioning around the equipment during travel. Its stated use is to protect compatible camcorders while they are being transported.

For storage, the case deflates and packs into a pouch described as compact and book-sized. This makes its packed form smaller than its inflated form, though no packed dimensions are given. When inflated, the case is intended to cushion the camcorder, including when stowed in an aircraft overhead bin. The product is black, and its listed weight is under 700 grams. No material, rain cover or waterproof rating is specified, so weather protection cannot be determined from the available information.
