The HPE Aruba Networking 12-port 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ / 12-port 1GbE SFP MACsec v3 zl2 Module (J9989A) is an expansion card for enterprise network switches. It connects to the host chassis via a dedicated zl2 interface. The module supports data transfer rates of up to 1000 Mbit/s and provides wired connectivity without wireless networking capabilities.

This module is compatible only with HPE 5400R zl2 series switches. It allows administrators to connect peripheral devices, such as IP cameras and access points, directly to the core network. Measuring 261.6 mm by 206.5 mm, the unit fits into a standard chassis slot. It weighs 940 g, which simplifies installation and maintenance.
