The Cisco Catalyst 3650-24TS-L is a 1U rack-mountable Layer 3 switch featuring 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 SFP uplink slots, intended for enterprise access networks. With a total switching capacity of 92 Gbit/s, it supports data transfers across all connected interfaces. As a Layer 3 device, it handles native IP routing between subnets without requiring an external router. This model does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE) and is designed solely for data transmission.

Administrators can stack multiple units to simplify management and scale network capacity. The device is configured via a web interface, secured with SSH and SSL, and uses Access Control Lists (ACLs) to manage traffic. Quality of Service (QoS) settings allow for the prioritisation of critical data streams. The unit draws 55.21 W under typical load and generates 48 dB of noise during operation.
