This unmanaged switch is plug-and-play and requires no configuration. The TP-Link TL-SF1024 24-Port 10/100 Mbps Rackmount Switch is designed to expand wired network capacity in office environments. It provides 24 Fast Ethernet ports with data transfer rates of up to 100 Mbps. As a Layer 1 device, it handles physical data transmission directly. You can connect hardware without configuring any interfaces. The switch does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE), so connected devices must be powered separately. Traffic is forwarded automatically once cables are connected.

The unit features a black chassis designed for standard 19-inch IT racks. It measures 440 × 180 × 44 mm, allowing it to fit into standard server racks. Because it has no internal cooling fans, the switch runs silently, making it suitable for open-plan offices without dedicated server rooms. It is powered via a standard DC jack. Front-facing LED indicators display link status and activity for basic hardware diagnostics.
