The TP-Link TL-SG1005D 5-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch is an unmanaged device designed to expand wired local networks. This plug-and-play model requires no software configuration. It provides five RJ45 ports for connecting computers, storage drives, and media hardware, with transfer speeds of up to 1 Gbit/s. Each port automatically detects the correct connection mode and speed for the attached device.

Housed in a black plastic chassis, the switch is designed for flat surfaces. Measuring 165 x 108 x 28 mm, it fits easily alongside existing networking equipment. The fanless design ensures silent operation, making the device suitable for quiet environments. Built-in LED indicators show link status and data activity.
